This workshop will provide an introduction to the analysis of spatially structured data.
It will introduce Spatial Statistics and focus on the analysis of data that vary over a discrete set of indices (areal data) as, for example, the number of registered cases of Covid-19 across the boroughs of Montreal.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have learned how to
ÌýÌýÌýÌý > fit conditional auto-regressive (CAR) models;
ÌýÌýÌýÌý > fit areal level data using CARBayes in R;
ÌýÌýÌýÌý > create disease maps.
Pre-requisites: Knowledge of generalized linear models and R.
