Understanding file systems in Windows and on a Mac

Workshop series
Computational and Data Systems Initiative

In data science, sooner or later you have to work with files and folder structures. This can be challenging in our app-dominated world. This short workshop will teach you concepts that allow you to understand and work with files and folders on your Mac or Windows computer.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
     > understand the principles of files systems for data science
     > navigate the file system on your computer

Pre-requisites? None

Date: October 18, 2021
Time: 12:00 to 13:00
Location: Burnside Hall BH511 *Vaccine passport required
Trainer: Tim Elrick

This workshop is offered for free by the Faculty of Science to the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ community. Due to the limited amount of spots available, if you sign up for a workshop and don't show up, you will not be allowed to register for another workshop this semester.
