[This is session 2 in the series听Introduction to Natural Language Processing]

Overview:

This 3-part workshop provides an overview of the听natural language processing (NLP) domain and its applications.听In this session, you will learn about the听main steps in an NLP lifecycle and go through some of these steps with a real-world example using the Python programming language.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
- Understand the steps in the natural language processing life cycle
- Learn specific NLP methodologies, such as听TF-IDF and N-grams
- Understand the challenges that can arise in some NLP use-cases

Prerequisites: Introductory knowledge of programming in Python,听using libraries and packages and how to install them.听 A general understanding of artificial intelligence. Introductory knowledge of NLP (e.g. from session 1 of this series).

Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
