The internet is full of data that you can use for your analysis. If you want to learn how to efficiently retrieve data, this is your workshop. We will discuss downloading files, using APIs, web scraping, and downloading feeds.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
> use an API
> understand webscraping (i.e. how to download data from a website)
> understand how to work with RSS feeds

Pre-requisites? Basic knowledge of R, such as workshops Introduction to data science with R, R summer camp, or equivalent.
