Computational and Data Systems Initiative

This workshop aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of structural equation modeling. The session will go over fitting structural equation models in R, evaluating model fit, interpreting results in substantive terms, and three examples of commonly used structural equation models.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to
> formulate structural equation models based on theory
> evaluate model fit
> interpret findings from path models, factor models, and structural equation models

Pre-requisites: knowledge of R and linear regression analysis.

Date: Monday, Mach 21, 2022
Time: 1PM to 3PM
Location: room BH511, inside the Geographic Information Center.
Instructors: Nika Zahedi and Emma Somer, PhD students, , Department of Psychology.

This workshop is offered for free by the Faculty of Science to the ۲ݮƵ community. Due to the limited amount of spots available, if you sign up for a workshop and don't show up, you will not be allowed to attend another workshop this semester.
