Overview: As part of the data science life cycle series, this workshop will introduce you to creating a dynamic website to display your analytical results and data sets. The R shiny package allows you to create nice-looking interactive dashboards.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
ÌýÌý > understand the logic of building shiny apps
ÌýÌý > build a basic dashboard
ÌýÌý > create input fields and manipulate the output of the dashboard

Prerequisites:
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý · Introductory knowledge of R, e.g. from ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's R summer camp, or equivalent.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý · You need to bring your own laptop for this workshop. Install R and RStudio on your computer. You can find installation instructions here. Please contact us (cdsi.science at mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with installation.
