SIS MISt student awarded the Computational Research Fellowship

The inaugural winner of the fellowship, Rajat Bhateja is a second-year Masters of Information Studies student in the School of Information Studies, Faculty of Arts. He will present his in progress research project “Semantic, Context Analysis and Visualization of ۲ݮƵ theses data using word2vec” in which he used the full-text and metadata of over 40,000 theses in the۲ݮƵ eScholarship collection“to find the current and past literary meanings of concepts allowing researchers and students of ۲ݮƵ to observe and describe ۲ݮƵ social conventions”.
