Appointment of new General Manager for the Research Institute of the MUHC
The Research Institute of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Health Centre has strengthened its administrative team with the appointment of M. François Schubert to the new position of General Manager.
"The Research Institute is entering a period of accelerated development and change that require new structures and approaches. With his experience and long record of accomplishment, François Schubert will be an invaluable resource to help us achieve this goal and to make the most of the valuable discoveries that are being made by our scientists", says Dr Vassilios Papadopoulos, Director of the Research Institute.
M.Schubert brings 25 years of national and international experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health care sectors to his new position. Moreover, M.Schubert has already been an employee of the MUHC (RVH site) from 1975-1989, occupying various positions such as pharmacist resident, pharmacy director and assistant director of hospital and professional services.
As General Manager he will help to lead strategic planning for the Research Institute. "I want to maximize opportunities to develop intellectual property and implement new initiatives that will enhance research core facilities and operations", says M.Schubert.
The Research Institute of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Health Centre (RI MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and health-care hospital research centre.
