Schulich School of Music students take home top 3 prizes at the 8th edition of the Repentigny Provincial Music Competition

Charles Richard-Hamelin, student of Prof. S. Laimon, was awarded the $10,000 top prize at this weekend’s Repentigny Provincial Music competition along with a $1500 prize as the best competitor from Lanaudière. The $5000 second prize went to cellist Vanessa Hunt-Russell, student of Prof. E. Dolin. Third prize, and $3000 was awarded to recorder player Vincent Lauzer, a student of Prof. M. Maute.
