The 2016 Ellsworth Smith International Trumpet Solo Competition takes place from August 21-September 2, 2016.听听Six听outstanding trumpet players听compete for a $10,000 first prize. This prestigious competition is sponsored by the International Trumpet Guild and The Columbus Foundation. Attend if you can or view the live stream.听Performance rounds begin Thursday morning, September 1 at The University of Alabama School of Music.听All performances are free and open to the public, and will also be livestreamed.
