Student Ngozi Okidegbe to present at International AIDS Conference in Australia
Third year Law student Ngozi Okidegbe has been selected to present her paper, "Litigating HIV-related discrimination in Nigeria: implications of Georgina Ahamefule v. Imperial Medical Centre and Dr. Molokwu," – written under the supervision of Professor Vrinda Narain – at the 20th International AIDS Conference, which will take place July 20-25, 2014, in Melbourne, Australia.
“I am very excited about this chance to represent ۲ݮƵ at the conference,” said Ngozi. “It is a chance to assess where we are, evaluate recent scientific developments and lessons learnt, and collectively chart a course forward.”
The International AIDS Conference is the premier gathering for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic. It takes place every two years.
