Welcome to Caroline Cassagnabère, QRCPCL post-doctoral fellow

The Quebec Research Centre of Private and Comparative Law (QRCPCL) is delighted to welcome its first postdoctoral fellow, Caroline Cassagnabère, a doctor of private law from the Université de Rennes 1.

Dr Cassagnabère's doctoral thesis was entitled La responsabilité envers soi-même, and combined legal theory, fundamental private law, and civil liability.

For her postdoctoral project, Dr. Cassagnabère will focus on the notions of person and of patrimony in the context of a comparative study of patrimony by appropriation in both French and Quebec law.

Caroline Cassagnabère's research interests include property law, legal theory, law of persons and French law, and she has taught the law of persons, family law, obligations, along with civil procedure.
