The CHILD-BRIGHT Network is composed of clinicians, patients, families, and scientists who are committed to improving outcomes for children born with brain-based developmental disabilities through research. Together, CHILD-BRIGHT’s pan-Canadian research program, led by Dr. Steven Miller, will study new diagnostic tests, therapies, service models, and technologies to optimize the physical and mental health of Canadian children born with brain-based disorders as well as the well-being of their caregivers and families.Ìý

These challenges can negatively impact their quality of life and the quality of life of their families. Our Strongest Families project explores whether emotional and behavioural regulation can be improved in children with brain-based disorders through parenting programs that include education, telephone support, and parent-to-parent connections.
