Vice-Admiral Jerome Adams, the U.S. Surgeon General, has announced plans to develop a 2020 Surgeon General’s Report on Oral Health, following up on the last report that was produced in 2000. On November 26th, 2018, Surgeon General Adams held a 1 ½ day Listening Session to launch the report. An audience of about 170 individuals, representing different dental organizations and agencies, participated in the event. ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s Faculty of Dentistry Professor, Jocelyne Feine, was appointed as one of 6 section editors, and it is anticipated that many other experts will be involved at various stages of the development of this report.
