The following awards are most often based on academic merit in combination with criteria specific to each award.
Award funding is not guaranteed for any student. The amount of any award may vary for a given year depending on the market value of the generating fund.
General award eligibility:ÌýGraduate students who are full-time Masters thesis or PhD students are eligible to apply for awards; part-time graduate students and graduate student enrolled in certificate or coursework options are not eligible. Some external awards (eg. SSHRC) require that the graduate student is a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
