D2R Funding Programs – Information Session for Researchers

Wednesday, February 28, 2024 10:30to11:30

Join us for a virtual information session on
DNA to RNA: An inclusive Canadian approach to genomic-based RNA therapeutics (D2R),
an interdisciplinary research initiative at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University!

The D2R Initiative has recently launched it’s first two funding programs: Foundational Projects program and the Research in Motion program. These two programs are part of a suite of thirteen programs that aim to foster innovation and ensure impactful translation of genomic medicine and RNA science into clinical and commercial applications, alongside meaningful policy contributions. By supporting projects at various stages, the funding programs encourage early-stage research and advanced development of solutions, including bridging the gap between science and societal needs. More funding programs will continue to be released in the coming months.

The information session aims to highlight the importance of RNA science, provide an overview of the D2R Initiative and the newly launched funding programs (and those that are forthcoming), and answer any questions you may have.

Who is invited? This session is open to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ community members doing RNA-related research (open to all faculties) as well as select researchersÌýat D2R partner institutions (McMaster University, University of British Columbia, University of Ottawa and Université de Sherbrooke).

If you are unable to attend or prefer to submit questions in advance, please email your inquiries to D2R [at] mcgill.ca
