Title:
Balance training in Parkinson’s disease: from theory to clinical practice.
Abstract:
In this presentation, I will review our recent work on balance training in elderly with Parkinson´s disease. With an ongoing randomized controlled trial as a starting-point, I will focus on the development of a specific, progressive and highly challenging exercise regime and present preliminary results regarding its feasibility, progression and effect.
