His research program is supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the National Institutes of Health. His training is in respiratory medicine and physiology, epidemiology, and mathematics, and was obtained at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and Columbia Universities.
