ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ24 GCI NextGen: Donate to train the next generation of cancer research advocates

We are excited to announce that for ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ24, the University's annual day of giving, the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute (GCI) is raising funds for GCI NextGen, a scholarship to train the next generation of advocates on the importance of cancer research.

This 15-week summer program hosted by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBMS) provides undergraduate students with the chance to work alongside world-renowned GCI researchers and gain experience in professional laboratories as well as orientation and training sessions with the opportunity to participate in a Summer Research Symposium.

These scholarships are designed for students in the penultimate (second to last) year of their undergraduate degree who hold an interest in the field of cancer research. This program will give them the opportunity to discover their interests in cancer research while providing them with lab techniques, collaborative research, and opportunities for cross-discipline learning.

Every single gift counts, no matter the size. Thanks to matching funds, your gift to the GCI NextGen is amplified.Ìý
