Joseph Cox
Dr. Cox obtained his MD from Dalhousie University, and an MSc (Epidemiology) and Public Health & Preventive Medicine specialty training, from ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. He is a consultant physician at the Chronic Viral Illness Service, Division of Infectious Diseases, ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Health Centre, and the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Sector, Regional Department of Public Health, CIUSSS-Centre-Sud-de-l ’Île-de-Montréal. His research program focuses on understanding the determinants of HIV, STIs and hepatitis C, and evaluating related prevention and care interventions, among vulnerable urban populations.
