HBHL and Mitacs Partner to Offer Fellowships and Internships

Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives (HBHL), an $84M initiative located at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University and supported by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund, and , a national, not-for-profit organization that designs and delivers research and training programs, have partnered to offer training and fellowship opportunities in Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics tailored to HBHL's goals and research priorities.Ìý

The partnership allows Masters and PhD students and postdoctoral researchers registered full-time at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ to benefit from various Mitacs fellowship and internship programs, by tapping into HBHL's growing network of industrial and academic partners.Ìý

Specifically offered are:Ìý

  • 4-month to 3-year fellowships and internships at local and international companiesÌý
  • 2-year fellowships for Postdoctoral researchers coupled with management training and an internship with an industrial partnerÌý
  • ÌýTravel awards to work with selected university partners abroad for 4 monthsÌý
