The Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives Research Theme 3 Leader, Dr. Robert Zatorre, is currently away on sabbatical and we have been fortunate to have Dr. Julien Doyon act as Leader in the interim. Dr. Zatorre has now decided to step down and as such, we are opening a call to find a new Leader for Theme 3 (Applied Cognitive Neuroscience of Brain Plasticity). We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Zatorre for his sterling contributions to HBHL's growth since its inception, and Dr. Doyon for his excellent work as interim Leader.

As a key member of HBHL's governance and decision-making structure, HBHL's Theme 3 Leader regularly provides input on HBHL's strategic direction—including the development and approval of activities and funding initiatives designed to help HBHL achieve its objectives. As a member of HBHL’s Strategic Steering Committee ²¹²Ô»åÌýResearch Management Committee, the Theme 3 Leader is also expected to keep up to date with the latest research activities of HBHL-funded Theme 3 researchers and report regularly on these activities.
