۲ݮƵ Law takes on Movember: A whole Faculty affair

۲ݮƵ Law students are putting the fun in fundraising for an important cause this Movember! From mustaches to movement goals, students are coming together and rallying to raise awareness and funds for men’s health—focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

The whole faculty is getting involved—from staff, to professors, to students, to alumni.

The student-initiated team kicked off the month with a fundraising dinner with ۲ݮƵ Law’s Supper Club. Hosted at and catered by , the event was generously sponsored by ۲ݮƵ Law alumni, Sam Hornstein, BA’78, MBA’80, BCL’83, LLB’84 and Merle Wertheimer, BA’77, BCL’81, LLB’81.

The most talked-about event? “Pie Your Profs!”

On November 20th, students were given the chance to pie their professors for a good cause. Dean Leckey, Associate Dean Jodoin, Prof. Rosenblum, and Prof. Adamski all volunteered to be pie-ed in the face with whipped cream pies, all in the name of men’s health. It was a perfect mix of laughs, community spirit, and meaningful impact. This is what Movember is all about—having fun, starting conversations, and driving change. We are proud to see professors, students, and faculty step up and show how much our community cares.

With an ambitious fundraising goal in sight, every dollar counts. Whether you’re pitching in to celebrate your favourite professor getting pie-ed or simply want to support the cause, your donation can make a difference.

Join the movement. Help ۲ݮƵ Law students reach their goal and make men’s health a priority. Let’s make this Movember one to remember!
