2012-2013 Disability, Human Rights and the Law Seminar Series

The Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, the Human Rights Working and the Disability and Law Portfolio at the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Faculty of Law, welcome students and community members to participate in the first of four seminars in the series, Disability, Human Rights and the Law 2012-13.

The first seminar will provide a forum for discussion of conceptual challenges, legal standards and international best practices for implementing the UN CRPD and constructively impacting the lives of people with disabilities. The discussion will be informal and facilitated by several experts in the field of human rights and disability law.

The event follows the format of a teaching seminar and required reading resources will be circulated ahead of time. RSVP to chrlp.law [at] mcgill.ca by September 19. Lunch will be provided.
