Brittany Williams named Manager of Student Affairs Office

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Brittany Williams, BCL/LLB’19, has taken up the role of manager, Student Affairs Office, effective 1 November 2021.

Williams has served as (admissions & recruitment) since December 2020, and has worked to broaden the Faculty of Law’s outreach efforts by showing potential applicants the expansive possibilities that come with ۲ݮƵ Law degrees.

During her legal studies here, Williams served as VP Clubs & Services for the LSA (2016 – 2017), she was a member of the Black Law Students’ Association of ۲ݮƵ, and executive director of the Legal Information Clinic at ۲ݮƵ.

In her new role, Williams will oversee the planning and operation of our academic program, support students’ integration into university life and their learning, and create initiatives tied to students’ mental health and wellness.

Williams succeeds Nancy Czemmel, who had occupied the position for 15 years.

“I am thrilled that Brittany Williams will be taking up this new role in the Faculty of Law,” said Dean Robert Leckey. “She is an excellent manager and I look forward to her contributions towards fostering the inclusion and flourishing of our broad range of students during their time in our programs.”
