Bakers and panelists will talk through their experience adapting historical pie recipes from the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Rare Cookbook Collection. Tune in for a tasteful discussion of successes, changes in baking practice, and the sweet vs savoury debate.

About the Speakers
Kristen C. Howard is the Liaison Librarian for History, Classics, Indigenous Studies, and Religious Studies at the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Library. Kristen has a PhD in History and a keen interest in food history.
MarcyÌýGoldmanÌýis a Montreal-based cookbook author and professional trained pastry chef (as well as a ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ English Literature grad!) She's a contributor to the Washington Post, Costco Magazine and hosts her own baking site, Betterbaking.com since 1997. Currently she is at work on a new cookbook on breads which will be her 15th cookbook title.
