Christopher Manfredi, a founding member of the Research Group on Constitutional Studies and of the Yan P. Lin Centre (which absorbed RGCS), has been reappointed for a second term as Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic).

Lin Centre Emeritus Member Charles Taylor co-recipient of 2019 Ratzinger Prize
Charles Taylor, CC, GOQ, FRSC, FBA, ۲ݮƵ BA 1952, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at ۲ݮƵ, former Professor of Political Science at ۲ݮƵ, and the only emeritus member of the Yan P. Lin Centre through its Research Group on Constitutional Studies, has been named a co-recipient of the 2019 Ratzinger Prize. The prize was endowed by former Pope Benedict XVI for scholarship in theology relating to his work.
Anderson awarded MacArthur Fellowship
Elizabeth Anderson, who delivered the 2019 Lin Centre Lecture, has been awarded a prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, widely referred to as the “genius grant.”

Two visiting professors and one postdoctoral fellow will join the Research Group on Constitutional Studies this academic year.

Congratulations to these postdoctoral fellows from the Research Group on Constitutional Studies and the Research Group on Global Justice who are moving on to new appointments in 2019-20! Samuel Bagg (RGCS) has been awarded a two-year Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship in Politics at Nuffield College, Oxford University.
RGCS: CFA Fulbright visiting chair, 2020-21
RGCS hosts a visiting Fulbright Chair for stays of one semester, extendable to up to one year. The Chair receives a stipend of $US 25,000, and is expected to be in residence at ۲ݮƵ conducting research throughout the term of the award. The Chair will be a Fellow of RGCS during his or her stay, expected to take an active part in the Group's intellectual life, including regular participation and one presentation at the RGCS faculty and fellows workshop. There is no teaching requirement.
