From the random 3-uniform hypergraph to the random triangular group.
We consider the triangular model of a random group and study the threshold for the property of not being free. We show that in some sense this threshold coincides with the threshold for the appearance of a 2-core in the random 3-uniform hypergraph. This is a joint work with Tomasz 艁uczak, Tomasz Prytu艂a, Piotr Przytycki, and Bartek Zaleski.
