ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ
During your exchange
While you’re busy exploring and learning abroad, here are a few things that will help you ensure a smooth transition back to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ:
Keep all course materials
Graded exams, essays, evaluation rubrics, syllabi, and reading lists may be needed by your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Faculty Advisor to approve your courses for transfer credit.
Regularly check your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ email
That’s how we stay in touch! Keep an eye out for important notices and information about ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ course registration, fees, graduation, and more. In case of an emergency, ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ will contact you via your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ email so be sure to check it regularly.Â
Register for ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ courses for the upcoming term (if applicable)
If you expect to return to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ after your exchange program, be sure to register for your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ courses by applicable deadlines to avoid late registration fees.
Apply to graduate (if applicable)
If you are a graduating student, you might have to apply for graduation on Minerva while on exchange. Failure to do so may jeopardize or postpone your graduation!
Arrange to have your transcript sent to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ
Your transcript is an essential part of the credit transfer process and it is your responsibility to ensure that there are no holds on your records at the host university so that your transcript may be released to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ.
Transcripts from host universities (in paper or electronic format) become the property of ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and will not be returned to you or forwarded to another institution. If you want a copy for your own records, make sure to request it before leaving.
