Dr. Giada Sebastiani
Dr. Giada Sebastiani is an Associate Professor of Medicine. Dr. Sebastiani provides clinical services in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is the sole North American representative in the prestigious European AIDS Clinical Society guidelines 2019, comorbidities panel. Her work focuses on fatty liver disease, liver fibrosis and non-invasive diagnostic tools in liver disease, with a current focus on people living with HIV. She teaches medical residents and fellows, medical students and graduate students. She is tutor and course developer of the Clinical Epidemiology course for graduate students in the Division of Experimental medicine (together with Drs Mark Goldberg, Susan Bartlett and Suzanne Morin). She is teaching “Research Fundamentals I” and “Research Fundamentals II” courses to Medical students, gastroenterology Block E to medical students and in the School of Human Nutrition.
