Biography: 

Nancy Sheehan (PharmD, MSc) is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Faculté de pharmacie, Université de Montréal and is co-coordinator of the HIV Advanced (Year 2) Pharmacy Residency program. She is a pharmacist with expertise in HIV and HCV pharmacotherapy and her clinical practice is at the Chronic Viral Illness Service (MUHC). She also co-leads the Québec Antiretroviral Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Program which offers services across Canada. Her research focuses on pharmacokinetic / pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) determinants of virologic response, drug-drug interactions, pharmacokinetic variability in special populations, penetration of antiretrovirals in reservoirs and PK/PD modeling. She teaches several undergraduate and graduate courses on clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy of viral and parasitic infections and tropical medicine. She is the recipient of numerous awards including a career award « Prix d’excellence Roger Leblanc » from l’Association des pharmaciens d’établissement de santé du Québec.
