Join us on November 4 at noon for the next webcast in our weekly series, ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Cares, designed to support informal caregivers. During candid, 30-minute interviews with leading experts, Claire Webster, Alzheimer Care Consultant and Founder of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Dementia Education Program, will explore topics related to caring for a loved one with dementia.

Healthy Aging to Stay Strong and Prevent Dementia

Dr. José Morais is Professor and Director of Geriatric Medicine at the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Health Centre and the Jewish General Hospital. In addition to being Academic Lead of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Dementia Education Program, he is Co-Director of the Quebec Network for Research on Aging and past President of the Canadian Geriatrics Society. He conducts research on the organization of services for older adults, and on nutrition and metabolism as they pertain to healthy and fragile aging.

Dr. Morais will discuss how to increase the odds of aging well to maintain physical and cognitive health.
