ٰ:Neuroimaging has significantly advanced our understanding of the human brain by allowing non-invasive visualization and examination of brain structure and function. “Precision neuroimaging” builds upon this foundation, by mapping brain structure, function, and connectivity patterns with enhanced fidelity through the use of repeated and prolonged scans, resulting in a more precise and individualized understanding of brain function. To this end, the application of ultra-high field (UHF) neuroimaging at magnetic field strengths of 7 Tesla may further enhance spatial and temporal resolution. Here, we provide a first peek into a soon-to-be-released multimodal precision neuroimaging dataset along with processed derivatives ready to use, which capitalized on UHF 7T MRI acquisitions across multiple sessions. Our objective is to provide a ultra high-quality MRI dataset, along with the derivatives and the necessary tools and documentation to reproduce all outputs effectively. The goal of this open science initiative is to share standardized data which ultimately will aid the development of reproducible models of the brain.

Donna Gift Cabalo Bio:Donna graduated from the MSc program in Cognitive Science at the University of Trento with distinction. She is now a PhD student at the MICA Lab of the BIC, ۲ݮƵ University, supervised by Dr. Boris Bernhardt. Her work focuses on investigating reorganization of declarative memory systems using temporal lobe epilepsy as the human disease model at 3T and 7T. Donna has been instrumental in organizing the 7T data acquisitions and processing, and is dedicated to promoting open science principles by sharing the 7T data.

Raul Cruces Bio:Raul obtained his MD with Laurate distinction, and graduated with honors from the PhD program in Biomedical science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico where he worked in the field of epilepsy and cognition. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the MICA Lab of the BIC, ۲ݮƵ University. His current work focuses on optimizing MRI preprocessing workflows, advocating for open data sharing practices, and developing multiparametric modeling approaches to better comprehend the intricate interactions within structural and functional brain networks in both healthy and disease.

The Feindel Brain and Mind Seminar Series will advance the vision of Dr. William Feindel (1918–2014), Former Director of the Neuro (1972–1984), to constantly bridge the clinical and research realms. The talks will highlight the latest advances and discoveries in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, and neuroimaging.

Speakers will include scientists from across The Neuro, as well as colleagues and collaborators locally and from around the world. The series is intended to provide a virtual forum for scientists and trainees to continue to foster interdisciplinary exchanges on the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of brain and cognitive disorders.
