Neurophysiology, neuropsychology, and epilepsy, in 2022: hills we have climbed and hills ahead is a two-day symposium honoring Professor Jean Gotman and Professor Marilyn Jones-Gotman.

With careers spanning five decades at The Neuro, Jean Gotman and Marilyn Jones-Gotman have each, in their field of expertise, contributed tremendously to the advancement of knowledge in epilepsy. This symposium will highlight their contributions in the field as well as focus on current topics and future trends in epilepsy.

This educational event will gather national and international experts in neurophysiology, neuroimaging, cognition and neuropsychology. The intended audience includes neurologists, epileptologists and epilepsy neurosurgeons, neurophysiologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists and neuropsychiatrists, neuroscientists, neurology residents and graduate students in engineering, neuroscience and psychology.

CLAE Jean Gotman & Marilyn Jones-Gotman Grant (Dinner)

In honour of Dr. Jean Gotman and Dr. Marilyn Jones-Gotman, the CLAE is hosting a fundraising dinner to acknowledge their research and clinical contributions, which have benefitted and will continue to benefit the epilepsy community. The dinner will take place after the first day of the scientific meeting Epilepsy 2021: A vision of the future in epilepsy research at the Montreal Neurological Institute, with a reception starting at 6.30 p.m. EDT.

Join us for a night of fun filled conversation and the chance to network with epilepsy/neuropsychology professionals from across the country and the world. Our goal is to raise funds to create a CLAE research award to honour Dr. Jean Gotman and Dr. Marilyn Jones-Gotman.
