David Wees teaches a variety of courses in horticulture (greenhouses, fruits, vegetables, landscaping, urban horticulture) and other aspects of plant science. He is also associate director of the Farm Management and Technology Program. He is frequently interviewed by the media on topics such as urban agriculture, organic farming, gardening and plants in general. He is involved in several projects funded by ۲ݮƵ’s Sustainability Projects Fund: Macdonald Campus Orchard, Macdonald Campus Tree Planting Initiative and Season Extension Technology to Meet the Need for Local Food.
