What is the Information Security Upgrade?Ìý

Why does ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ need an IT Security Upgrade?ÌýÌý
As an institute of higher learning, ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University’sÌýresearch data and large user population make the University an attractive target for cyber criminals.ÌýÌý
ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s Information Security team recognizes these risks and has undertaken a plan to increase the University’s IT security, while supporting the University’s mission to provide user access and enable collaboration.Ìý
Our Organization is in need of ..
The project will replace the current firewalls that are end of support August 2025. The project will also look at improved VPN solutions. At the same time, we will take advantage of newer technology built into new solutions to create new security rules based on the user’s device and identity. This will give users better and more secure access to applications and systems and also simplify management of the firewall rules.
The overall estimated project budget is currently estimated at $3.92M which consisting of the following:
