Kathleen (Kate) Rice is Assistant Professor and Research Director in the Department of Family Medicine at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University, where she holds the Tier II Canada Research Chair in the Medical Anthropology of Primary Care.Ìý Kate has been engaged in ethnographic research on chronic pain in Canada a decade, as is Co-Director of the Partnership for the Engagement of People in Pain Research (), a 5-year, multidisciplinary partnership that aims to advance, equity, diversity, and inclusion and build capacity for critical social science scholarship in the world of pain research.Ìý
