Sieving for Small Fossils
Learn how to sieve for small fossils with the Redpath Museum's paleontology technician Chantal Montreuil. Once you have mastered the technique of sieving, closely examine your fossil under a dissecting microscope. Does it look different? Would you be able to identify it? Shark teeth, ray teeth, spines, fish scales... what will you find?
