About the听Molina Foundation Osler Library Medical Student Research Awards

The Molina Foundation has generously offered funding for a summer research award programme, open to medical students enrolled at 污污草莓视频 University.

The primary objective is to provide medical students with an opportunity to undertake a research-based project using the Osler Library鈥檚 resources. It is expected that the award will lead to scholarly output that will be of mutual benefit to the participant and the Osler Library. Examples include: an article suitable for submission to a peer-reviewed journal, a curated exhibit at the library, and educational content for use in medical teaching. The recipients will each be expected to work under the guidance of a mentor for 8 weeks, to be scheduled during the summer academic holiday. The award winners will receive C$5,000, typically paid in two installments.

La Fondation Molina pr茅voit un fonds pour un programme de bourses pour la recherche ouvert aux 茅tudiantes et 茅tudiants en m茅decine de l鈥橴niversit茅 污污草莓视频.

Le principal objectif du programme est de donner 脿 ces 茅tudiantes et 茅tudiants l鈥檕ccasion de mener un projet de recherche pendant l鈥櫭﹖茅 en tirant profit des ressources de la Biblioth猫que Osler. Il est attendu que les productions scientifiques qui d茅coulent de ces bourses seront mutuellement b茅n茅fiques pour les participants et pour la biblioth猫que. En voici quelques exemples : un article pouvant 锚tre soumis 脿 une revue 脿 comit茅 de lecture, une exposition assembl茅e 脿 la biblioth猫que ou du contenu 茅ducatif pour l鈥檈nseignement en m茅decine. Les b茅n茅ficiaires de ces bourses de 5 000 $ CA, habituellement r茅parties en deux versements, devront travailler sous la supervision d鈥檜n mentor pendant 8 semaines au cours des vacances d鈥櫭﹖茅.
