Niky Kamran appointed Deputy Research Integrity Officer

Professor Niky Kamran has been appointed Deputy Research Integrity Officer at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ for a three-year term. As Deputy RIO, Professor Kamran promotes integrity in the conduct of research and carries out the assessment of research misconduct allegations. He works closely with the Research Integrity Officer (RIO), Professor Christina Wolfson, and fellow Deputy Research Integrity Officer Professor Jeanne Paquette, to foster an environment that promotes the ethical and responsible conduct of research at the University.

Kamran is a James ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the recipient of numerous research-related prizes and honours, including the CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize, the Aisenstadt Prize, and the Killam Fellowship. He is also a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and a Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium.
