Dr. Shenker has specialized in fluency disorders for over 40 years. She taught a graduate course in Stuttering Disorders in Children until 2009 at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. As a founding member of the Lidcombe Program Training Consortium she coordinates clinical training for this program in North America and has provided workshops to and mentored more than 3000 clinicians. She has presented at numerous National and International conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters on Stuttering to various textbooks. Her most recent work includes a review of bilingualism and stuttering, and treatment of school age children with the Lidcombe Program.
