Seeking SIS Practicum Hosts!
Our School is currently recruiting new Sites, Site Supervisors, and Projects for our Winter Semester Practicum.

The SIS Practicum is a 3-credit, tuition-based academic elective course for 2nd-year Master of Information Studies students. It consists of a supervised work placement at an approved site, typically unpaid, with required course assignments (e.g., work logs, mid-term report, final paper). The fieldwork component is a total of 100 hours.

Becoming a Practicum Site Supervisor for the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University School of Information Studies offers you the opportunity to influence the professional development of future information professionals. It also gives you the chance to:
- Contribute to the profession by supporting the development of emerging information professionals.
- Provide valuable mentorship experiences and real-world opportunities for students to practice their skills.
- Develop and implement special projects.
- Benefit from the energy, skills, knowledge, insights, and perspectives of our Masters students.
- Stay connected with the School and with ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ.
