Overview

Jewish Studies : A close study of selected rabbinic texts. Different types of texts will be chosen for analysis; legal, narrative, biographical, historical, philosophical, etc. Focus on the development of linguistic and interpretive skills.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Prerequisite: A reading knowledge of Hebrew and an introductory course in Rabbinic Judaism or permission of instructor
