Overview

Mechanical Engineering : Linear versus nonlinear elasticity models; crystal classes of anisotropy; governing equations in rectilinear and curvilinear coordinates; classical problems of elastostatics; plane elasticity; 3-D elasticity; elastodynamics; thermoelasticity; finite elasticity (incompressible versus compressible hyperelastic materials, strain-energy function, special analytical solutions, transversely isotrpoic materials, entropic elasticity for rubber, finite thermoelasticity and viscoelasticity).
