Overview

Mechanical Engineering : An introduction to the design aspects of fracture and fatigue, standard specimen fatigue, stress concentrations, crack initiation, linear elastic fracture mechanics, developments in non-linear fracture mechanics and low-cycle fatigue. Where appropriate, fractographic and probabilistic aspects of fatigue failure are discussed.
