Required Courses

Candidates must successfully complete two 3-credit graduate courses at the 600 level or above; one of these courses should be in the candidate's area of specialization. If the candidate completed two or more courses at the 600 level as part of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Physics M.Sc. program, then one of these courses may be used as a substitute for one of the required courses. In all cases, candidates must also pass the Ph.D. preliminary examination (PHYS 700).
