Overview

Music History and Literature : The modern genre of music for films, and its ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ styles (symphonic, jazz, pop compilation) from the silent era to today. Includes study of major film composers in North America and other traditions; analysis of the role of music in cinematic narrative, expression and symbolism.
