Historique : An investigation of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ historical construction of "deviant" and "normal" sexualities in Britain since 1700, and how queer women and men discovered ways of surviving and perhaps even flourishing in the face of persecution and hostility from the state, the churches and the medical profession.
