Dr. Madani is an endocrine surgeon at the University Health Network and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto. He completed his general surgery residency training at ۲ݮƵ University and subsequently completed a clinical fellowship in endocrine surgery at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he specializes in the surgical management of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease. Dr. Madani’s leads a research team (“Surgical AI Research Academy”), focusing on surgical expertise and the design and development of technology (such as artificial intelligence and simulation) to optimize performance in the operating room.
