Dr. Mwale鈥檚 primary duties and responsibilities as GPD are to manage the graduate studies programs (MSc, PhD, Diploma and Certificates), oversee the recruitment process to attract and successfully recruit excellent students, track the progress of graduate students and thesis submissions process of graduate students. He will play a critical role in assessing the learning objectives of current courses, develop new for credit courses and programs for the Division with the aim of providing world class training and education. Dr. Mwale will develop guidelines with the Associate Chair (Research) as to who may supervise graduate students and in what capacity and capture feedback and assessment on the quality of supervision.
